Director’s Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to welcome you to the new academic year to come. We at ELS/EAIS/EBIS firmly believe that education is a lifelong process. ‘We Teach for Life’ is therefore a phrase that we center our entire community around, both within the classroom walls and beyond them. We strive to develop a lifelong love of learning within each of our students. We do this by vigilantly nurturing their awareness, skills and characteristics in order to empower them and help them become successful contributors in our society.

Our mission includes enabling our students to meet and exceed high standards of achievement in a broad and balanced curriculum. This manner of teaching provides our students with the necessary tools to fulfil their potential and prepare them intellectually, socially, spiritually and emotionally to become a part of the new generation of global 21st century citizens. These essential qualities and skills gained by our students will therefore help them pave their own paths towards success with the help of our encouraging school environment that maintains a student cantered, differentiated learning environment that provides a safe space for students to aspire to achieve their dreams.

We also nurture our students into being caring citizens that value their culture, honour their country and respect those around them so that they may become effective leaders and role models for their communities. We encourage all of our students to pursue excellence, and always be prepared and anticipating of the challenges that they may face. We aspire to teach these individuals the adaptability they need to learn and grow in this ever-changing and rapidly developing world that we live in.

It is therefore of great importance to our schools to provide our teaching staff with the necessary and continuous professional development they need in order to achieve the apex of their potential so that they may provide our students with the best possible standards of education.

We are aware that none of this would be possible without providing a safe and cooperative learning environment for our students. Our home-school relationship remains one of our top priorities. We fully understand that our students’ feelings of safety and confidence, as well as their mental and physical well being cannot be complete without the essential open communication channels between school and home. Administration, staff and parents must always work together towards the common goal of enabling our students to develop emotionally, socially, physically, morally, creatively and academically.

Wishing you a fruitful and enjoyable academic year ahead. I look forward to meeting you all in our forthcoming events as the school year progresses.

Best regards,

Sincerely,
