We teach for life ; to bring up positive 21st century citizens, able to succeed beyond schooling, capable of of facing different life challenges and preparing them to be Egypt’s future leaders. We are after a high-quality education in a safe and ethical atmosphere. This is guaranteed through providing a highly motivated enthusiastic staff; as well as, developing our students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills; supported by our good channels with parents through a clear open-door policy.

The Egyptian Language School serves the educational needs of Nasr city, Heliopolis areas and a limited area with the 5th settlement and El-Rehab.

  •  The school opened in 1994.
  • ELS enrolls around 800 students in grades KG – 6th prim.
  • The national academic program is set by the Egyptian ministry of education.
  • English is taught as a 1st language.
  • French , German is taught as a second language.
Caters for

ELS caters for children of 3 years of age up to 12 years, Students are then automatically transferred to Kattamya campus to continue their national / International education.

Parents Expectations

As a parent (s) I / we will:

  • Attend whenever possible, school events and consultation meetings.
  • Encourage my child to meet homework deadlines.
  • Re-enforce the importance of my child wearing the formal uniform.
  • Ensure my child attends school on regular basis.
  • Be punctual for school events.
  • Support the school policy and guidelines for behavior.
  • Ensure that my child comes to school properly equipped.
  • Let the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behavior.
  • Respect the teacher’s work time and set an appointment with the school office to discuss any issues.
  • Encourage my child to be punctual for buses & start of school.
  • Consider ELS my child’s second home and believe that we should work together for his general benefit and progress.

Primary Sunday through Wednesday: 07:30 am – 02:30 pm
Thursday: 07:30 am – 01:30 pm

Morning: 7:30 am – 8:30 am
Afternoon: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
